About the
Position:
A full-time
position at the Professor level is available
in the JICM’s School of Marketing
Communication Management. Main responsibilities will
include building academic systems and
formulating academic and research initiatives
such that the school establishes a unique
identity in the community. Additional
expectations include scholarship, consulting
and institution building service.
Candidates must have
credentials appropriate for a full-time
appointment (Ph.D. or industry experience in
senior position with a reputed marketing,
advertising or management organisation).
Relevant professional work experience is
valued. Candidates with PhD should have an
experience in research and teaching in a
digital environment in one or more of the
following areas: marketing management, marketing
research, advertising, management and media.
The successful candidate will
teach courses from among the following:
advertising principles, advertising campaigns,
media planning, and integrated marketing
communication and may teach other existing
courses or develop new ones in the school.
Excellence in teaching, industry orientation,
professional development and service is
expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the marketing or
advertising field
Ability to teach additional
marketing courses as needed such as media
planning, media and message strategy,
principles of marketing and consumer behavior
