Professional Experience in Communications Industry

Worked as a Principal Consultant & General Manager West head with Collage Consulting and Hansa Events and Activation, RK Swamy BBDO Hansa Group since Feb 2007
My role in this company is to oversee two business divisions of the RK Swamy + Hansa Group.I was responsible for the business for the West region both the divisions.

Worked as a General Manager with Abacus Integrated Communications- A Part of Triton Advertising in the capacity of a General Manager overseeing Indian Operations from September 2005 to January 07.
My mandate was to make the company profitable by securing new business gains. We added 4 new businesses in 6 months. Clients include; Pepe London, M.C.H.I, Eureka Forbes Limited, Upstream Asia- Singapore, Three D Holograms, Sanghi Industries Limited, Metro Shoes etc.

Succeeded in turning the company around in 6 months which was carrying forward losses of Rs. 9 Lakhs when I joined; today its a successful operation doing Rs. 8 lakhs retainer business per month. Client retention has been 95% and Collections 100%.

JIL is the third largest Liquor Company in India. I was heading the marketing department at JIL in the capacity of Brand Manager. My job profile at JIL was:

Brands Handled: Sony FH G80, FH G70 & the Discman
Contribution to the account: Was a part of the team that did segment monitoring and research. Result of which the agency suggested 70% spends in print media, large part to be spent in tactical advertising. The strategy paid off & within six months of its launch, Sony products had more than 36% market share in the Mini Component Segment.
